Re: N600 with Rotary engine on eBay
I dont think that that matters in a thing like this.
It is a whole lot more power in this tiny car. Has to be a blast to
drive.
I didn't think a bigger motor could fit and still have any of the
real metal on the front end of the car.

i dont think a rotor engine is bigger than an n600 engine pretty
close in size if not smaller, people put motor engines in everything.

Re: N600 with Rotary engine on eBay
dont forget that rotory engine is a rear wheel drive
setup. but it is small enough to fit the n600 without
the smog setup.

I believe the rotary's were 1.2ltr or 1.3ltr, making them about twice
the size of the 600's engine (in displacemant). I can imagine that
that would be a blast to drive. I want one!

Re: N600 with Rotary engine on eBay
Measuring rotary engine displacement is the subject of
some dispute. Mazda rotaries are probably more
accurately somewhere between 3 and 3.5 litres. When
you consider the thermal efficiency (rotaries are
notoriously poor in this regard) that is a more
sensible measure of the size.

I've driven an RX7 automatic (and owed a RX7 stick). The auto transmission performance wise was a dog. It matters.
