I've a '72 coupe and it is leaking an un acceptable amount of oil
somwhere near the clutch. I am planning on pulling the engine and
pulling the clutch to get a better look at the situation. I am
interested in finding out what others have fopund when pulling the
clutches off of their 600's. The car was runing great except I had a
problem with the booster locking down the front brakes a few days
before the oil leak started. (The lock down started in my driveway and
the car wasn't being driven, although I believe that it had been
getting "tight" a week or two before that.) Any way I fixed the
booster and took the Z for a spin and then knoticed the dripping of il
from the cradle just under the clutch. It is hard to see there, but it
appears that the leak is just above the housing/cover or behind the
clutch and it is just being slung by the clutch....
Any way, I am getting ready to paint the car and want to repair it so I
can start driving it again, it has been 3 weeks now and I AM HAVING
WITHDRAWLS!!!!
