While adjusting my back seat today I noticed two mystery wires behind the rear accessory panel on the passenger side. They were not connected to anything. I can assume they are for the tail turning signals, but I cannot be 100% sure. Can anyone tell me what these wires do?
Secondly, is the back seat REALLY only held in by two bolts? There is a wing nut near the bottom of the back of the seat that doesn't go anywhere. Is it actually supposed to be used to hold the seat on? It seems pretty insecure. I guess it's a good thing that no human adult could fit in the back seat of these things.

Re: mystery black and yellow wires
Does your gas gauge work, these sound like the wires going to the fuel sender.

Re: mystery black and yellow wires
gas gauge does not work, but I was under the impression that the fuel sender has a single wire in the trunk access panel. I also have one disconnected wire in that panel, which I believe is green.
Perhaps I should just take pictures.
