I am putting my engine compartment back together after being disassembled
for six months. It seems my notes weren't as thorough as they ought to be!
There are several wires that I have little clue as to where they should end
up! Please see the attached picture. My questions are: 1. What is it? 2:
Where do it's wires go? It bolts to the side of the engine, near the speedo
cable. As you can see I have to replace the dried out wiring / shrinkwrap.

It’s the reverse light switch.
It should be plugged in to the harness on the passenger side of car.
I can’t remember exactly were but it is on the right side of engine compartment.

Hi Steven;
It's the reverse light switch and goes into the threaded hole next to the
Dip-stick.
