Hey, everyone!
I'm here in Illinois now, visiting the parents and the kids. Got my son's 72 N600 running, got the tires filled up with air, and took it out for a little ride yesterday, it's first such ride in over a year. Ran pretty well, except for one thing: On the 72s, there seems to be no provision for heat. Yes, there's a little lever above the radio, I moved that to "Room", and under the dash, there is  another lever labeled "open" and "shut". Neither position made a bit of difference! Even though it was only 25 out, the sun was shining, so we had a great time driving around, but you could see your breath inside the whole time!
Any ideas?

I guess when you use the lever open on shut... yo8u should have someone check under the hood to see the the rod is conected to the plastic part behind the cooling fan, It may be disconected and therefore not directing the air into the cabin. Maybe you have a hedgehog in the system holding the air back?? :o)
Hopefully you will solve it. Hot or cold they are still a joy to drive uh!!!

Howdy,
On my 72 n 600 the switch is located on the back side of the lover
lever you described. that switch malfunctioned many years ago. I disconnected
the fan wires from that switch and connected them to a two speed toggle switch
I installed in the dashboard. It works great. You might want to look into
installing a baffle to direct the heat away from the driver's right foot
though, avoiding the old Honda hot foot. I found this out when I was driving
around Oregon in winter.

Check and see if the Motor is on, also the hoses hooked up right in engine compartment and that they are without holes.  One more thing, Honda had an accessory that fit into the front of the grill covering up the air flow, this made the engine warm up faster and allowed it to heat up the air going into the car.  The switch below the radio also turns on the blower to the heat exchanger.
