Recently one of the Group asked how to put the diaphragm back on the
plate and keep it there. Well this was more of a "Lets try it and
see if it will work" type of fix. The diaphragm had come off some
time in the past and sat in brake fluid folded over for many years.
As I hate to throw anything away, and it being the worst diaphragm I
had ever seen, it was the one used to get the booster back on in
operation. So go to the Photo Album section and look for Booster Fix
folder. There you will see the diaphragm and center plate held in
postion with two plastic wire ties. And no kidding, it was on the
car for over two years. So it can be done.
