Why run a tube in a radial tire with a one piece rim? I heard the flexing from the radial tire wears out the tube. But who cares, put a tube in if you want. I never have in any car I have owned, never had any bead or rim leaks. Turn 60 this year. : )

I do run a tube in my Isetta wheel, but it's a split rim. Same tire as a Honda 600.

I run tubes in my Vespa 400, because that's the way they came.

I had problems with the stem and thin Chinese tubes on my Isetta split rim. Found thicker tubes and it is holding air now. The stem does move around with a tube, made sure there was no sharp edges in the stem hole and it is working good.

Why use inner tubes? They are tubeless tires, aren't they? How old are they?
Just brought 145/80 SR 10 Falkens for my Z. Will be running with inner tubes. On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, 09:59:55 AM CDT, andy.hale@... [2cylinderhondas] wrote:
