G'day from Australia!
First post here to the best of my knowledge, though I lurked for a while a number of years ago and may have posted then too.
I first came into contact with Zots 7 years ago, ran across one in a mechanic's backyard over here and asked what on earth 'that thing' was. The reply: "It's called a Zot, do you want it? Client gave it to me as partial payment for a job and I've not got to restoring it yet. Yours if you pick it up and take it home."
Needless to say, I picked it up quick as a flash and it's followed me around ever since...2 share houses and 3 of my own. It's in a sad state however (mainly paintwork and interior trim/uphostery), and now that the mechanical engineering studies are out of the way, it's time to start looking at it again to get it back on the road.
Have picked up a Haynes manual for the little thing which should cover most disassembly items I need. I've also found a donor dash and rear windshield frame (original cracked out, common I understand) for it, but the main issue I have on this little beauty is finding a windshield for it. The one I have is sporting a full length crack, top to bottom. Rare as hen's teeth over here! There are a number of N360s down under but I understand they don't share the same windshield.
Which models did the 1974 water cooled Z360 share a windshield with? I'm hoping I can find one of these little fellas as a donor, or a lonely windshield for my beastie somewhere. Any help here would be great. The bloke I got the dash and rear window frame from said that the air-cooled and water-cooled Zots don't share the same windshield, which if true cuts down the list of potential donors.
If anyone could assist on this one, I'd appreciate it immensely!
Cheers.

Thanks for that Corozon. Believe it or not, he was the chap I got the dashboard and rear window frame from!
I couldn't fault Barry, wound up chatting with him for a while - seems a great bloke.
I will make contact with him again but from memory it may have even been him who said that the windshields weren't compatible between the air-cooled and the water-cooled Zots - he's got some earlier air-cooled models with intact windshields and seemed of the opinion at the time that they wouldn't work on mine. Not sure why but was partly hoping someone could collaborate this?
There's another Gumtree ad in WA, I've made contact with the seller. She also appears to have a heap of parts for the Life (N360, correct?) if anyone needs.
