Toyota Sports 800

A car we can only dream about. Only 300 were made in LHD. Dual carburetor , 4stroke, 800cc's of top off yum yum , deliciousness ! This dead nuts reliable car belongs to the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville Tenn. and was daily driven during GPNWMME 2014 in Tacoma Wa. Not only did the car complete the Island and Ferry Hopping Tour, Jeff Lane drove it down to Portland Or. and around Mt. Rainer just for fun. This car is not for sale but is rumored to worth $ 150k.!
The Toyota Sports 800, or S800, was born only two years before the 2000GT, wearing most of its bigger sisters shapes but coming in a smaller package. Its almost as low, a bit narrower and comes with those glass covered headlamps along with fender-mounted rearview mirrors.
Oh, forgot to mention its a targa too. In fact, the Sports 800 adopted a targa roof before Porsche did a year after. It also comes with a 790 cc 2-cylinder flat engine making 45 hp. Not much, but  enough, the car weighs only 580 kg (1,279 lb).
