Your hinge is bent, back window is all plastic with steel structure inside some places

I don't think it is bent,Miles.It is the original on a car the was stored in a safe place and never damaged.I think it is out of adjustment.I will have my friend Maurice P.Check it out.Thanx for your input.....Laurie
