Fun Gold Zinc Items

Post by feltonminicycle »

I finally got some of my gold zinc sorted and made some mini kits for those of you who have been asking. More to follow as time permits.

Miles;
Really sharp items.  But what some restorers of these small cars is that the Zinc or Cad plating on the bolts places a material between the Steel fastener and the Aluminum which keeps corrosion at bay.  Bimetallic corrosion is one of the biggest culprits in the Honda.  Something that can't be stopped but with the use of replated parts like you are providing the restoration will last a lot longer.
