z600 adjustments for tall drivers?

Post by Scott »

Hello. New to group and considering a z600. Sat in a beautiful car for sale but I'm 6'6" and don't think I could drive it. The main issue is with my right knee being in the way of the shifter. What do tall people do to to fit in a 600? Smaller steering wheel (hubs available?), reposition seat further back/lower, possibly moving/shortening shifter? Thanks for you help!

The drivers seat sits on two rails, which are attached to the floor by four bolts.  I have considered creating a pair of flat metal bars that would allow one to remount the rails back 6-8 inches.
It "must" be possible.
