dual exhaust

Has anyone every had dual exhaust on there honda 600 coupe or sedan? If so did u use one or two mufflers? How loud was it? My experience with dual exhaust has been alittle noisy. Thoughts ?????

Typically the sound depends primarily on the muffler.  I ran duals on a V-6 truck.  Used a 1/2 inch larger pipe with a standard muffler that was intended for use on a four cylinder car on each side.  With the added cold air intake, the motor breathed well, still had sufficient back pressure (most people forget that motors need a small amount of back pressure) and it "purred" like a kitten.  A friend did the same thing with his pickup (same motor) but used glass packs.  I swear you could hear it BEFORE you started the motor.  Both seemed to have a noticeable increase in power and a faster throttle response plus there was definitley an increase in gas mileage.  I gained almost 3 mpg after the exhaust, cold air intake and a set of spark plugs.
