It seems that there has been a bit of bickering in the forums lately that I am sure no one wants to listen too. I would be great if everyone was to let out all of their knowledge and their reproduction parts so we can all order 100 shocks at a time or a gross of something else.
I looked for parts for a long time before buying from Miles and Bill etc. But found this just took up to much of my time so I started buying from the people that took all that time and energy to research and build or have someone else build the parts that we so much need that keep our little cars going.
Now if you spend the time and energy to do all the research and the money to order, buy and ship these items than I don't mind paying a small profit for doing all of this. If you charge to much than hopefully someone else will do it for less.
I would like to say "THANK YOU" to Miles, Mike, Bill, Kevin and whoever else makes the parts we need. I know my car would not be running right now with out a working carb, master cyl, brakes, the parts for the shift linkage and Brian and Blain for the motor work they did.
I now I am not in the forums much and it is not my forums but can the bickering be done off site so the rest of us don't have to see it.

Re: Bickering
Group;
This is not bickering, it's QC (Quality Control). We value the members of this group who are willing to spend the time and effort to keep these small cars on the road. Often we talk about the sway bar bushings Honda made that you can turn into a ball with your bare hand and some after market items that just don't do the trick.
So, ask the question, be a demanding client and expect an extra effort. And, keep emotions out of it.
While putting these parts together I have had a number of items come in that I wouldn't put on my car, and they are sent back to the manufacturer before reaching one of you. If you feel hurt by someone asking a simple question, then feel hurt.
Often it's not that a manufacturer won't make the part, they just don't want to service a multitude of emotional clients. Dealing with one individual is much easier and keeps things on track with minimum changes.
And speaking of the cost to put a part into production, I wish others would get in on this. I would much rather pay $50.00 for the part than $500.00 to get a single sample made.
