Removal of the Dash

Post by edchin33 »

Can someone help me point out the steps to remove the Dash on a 72 N600? How many bolts and where are they located?
I see there are two bolts connected to the firewall (I see the studs in the engine bay) but I can't seem to find them under the dash. What other bolts are there?
Thanks for the help...

Hidden screws inside the pull handle and dash top tray (opposite side) most of the little trays are gone. #3 phillips size screws are hidden, you will have to gingerly remove those 2 pieces. There's no screw in the center, just an alignment peg. More bolts around bottom rail and one hidden screw under plastic escutcheon for the steering column. You gotta drop the column for sure. Lots of wires to disconnect. Take a photo when you have the dash down to re-route the wires.

Thanks Miles,
I got the dash out easily (except the cable for the choke). I appreciate the help.
