There isn't enough room under the 600 hood to install a Metro power plant directly. Also, the Metro is a wider car so you would have issues with the front wheel drive system. But if someone is interested in changing the dimensions of the front of the Honda 600, then it could be done. And you sound like the person most likely to tackle such a project.
good luck and let us know how it turns out. You would have one car with lots of pep and great gas mileage. Such a combo would easily get 60 mpg since the car would weigh about 500 pounds less than a stock Geo Metro (1800 lbs).
