I have decided to sell the engine from my running/driving 600 sedan.
I rebuilt the engine for the former owner a couple years ago. It
still has less than 500 miles on the rebuild. I bought the car from
the estate when my friend passed away.
I have been driving the car but now have a coupe to drive. I would
sell the whole car but the engine is worth more than the car. The
advantage to the whole car is the brake system has also been rebuilt
and as a whole car is very dependable.
The engine complete with cooling fan, has synchromesh trans. Exhaust
& carb Not included $2500.00.
Complete car with current California title, rebuilt brake system, new
tires, rebuilt carb, everything works, but has holes in the roof
where the owner thought he was doing the right thing to repair small
spots of rust. The headliner is out, but available, I have the seats
out to avoid weld splatter. Easy enough to weld in patches, maybe 7
of them.
The car is a '71 or '72, is metallic green with the stainless side
strips. Steering wheel is excellent original. Car fires up on first
crank ! For a second opinion you can ask Kevin L., he's also on this
group and has driven the car. Car will be at the meet this Saturday
for review !
