Honda 600 Diesel???

Hi, has anyone seen a Honda 600 converted to diesel? If so, how was it
converted?

Has any company ever made a 2 or at a stretch 3 cylinder diesel ? (Newest
"Smart" car springs to mind. )
I doubt one is availible small enough to fit between the frame rails in the
engine bay given the 600 gearbox was also located within the engine
crankcase !.
Precisely the reason NO engine transplants ever seem to have been performed
upon these cars without MAJOR structural changes and engine / drivetrain
relocations.

Anton,
A friend of mine put a 3 cylinder turbo diesel into a Fiat out of a
Daihatsu Charade, Japanese Spec, with air cond too. He's a mad
engineer. I'll try and get a picture of it for you.
