Begging time

Post by Bill »

Okay everyone. Now I am on my knees. Does anyone have a carb rebuild
kit or a decent carb for a 71 Z600? Had to have it towed home
yesterday with a big puddle of gas underneath. I am 99% sure that its
my carb giving me the problems I have posted here. Also, since I
can't get my tensioner to loosen, is it possible to remove the two
side plates and lift the chain up enough to move the sprocket? Yes I
am a crabby mess. Thanks,
Bill in Missouri
p.s. Bill, I will probably need one of those nitrate o-rings for my
carb. Let me know how to get one.

Bill,
Send me a private email off the group and I'll send you my phone number. I
might be able to help with some of your issues.

As mentioned previously, you can buy a carb rebuild kit for a Honda
VL1000 on ebay for fairly cheap. Just remove the tabs on the big
gasket and it will all be a perfect fit.
Or you can send in your carb to Miles or Mike and they both do rebuilds.

Can someone send me a link for this part? I can't find one on eBay
currently. Thanks,
