Desperate home needed for Zots.

Post by David »

I am based in Penrtih NSW, Australia. I have to move to smaller place
and told can not put cars on property at the last moment. So there are
3 aircooled and 1 watercooled Zots up for grabs. 360/600's spare
working engines, gb, spares a plenty. Must be moved by wed 11th Oct or
they have to go to sims metals.
This is a very sad loss for me. Last minute notice from new landlord.
(if it aint new; they do not want it going anywhere near the property)
So here is the oppertunity of a lifetime if you live local and have the
capacity. Dont bother asking for parts. I dont have time or the
capacity to have people tearing things into mess right now. If you want
something then take the whole car/s(with whatever spares are jammed
into it)
Lots of rare and excellent condition parts call XXX-XXX-XXXX if you can
help. I will just have to aim at getting back into zots later down the
track.
Will check in on the group sunday night (I hope) and see if there are
messages. Otherwise the mobile phone will be on near whole time.
Cheers, Dave

For unclear reasons those guys down under took to calling 600s (360s, really) "zots". Go figure. Scroll down to near the bottom of this page on my site and see some articles referring to them as such...

Steven:
The shop manual I have lists these cars available as 360s, 400s AND
600s.The boys down under may indeed be working on 360 cars. mike

I disagree, Zot is part of the Australian Military phonetic alphabet. Just
like we use Zulu they use Zot for the letter Z. Remember only Z Coupe's
sent to America were called a Coupe, every where else they were Z's.

Pardon my short memory. From May '05...
Zot = Z, is the word used by the Brits and Auzie's for their version of the Verbal communications (USA) phonetic equivalent of "ZULU" for Z. A = Alfa, B = Bravo, C = Charlie, D = Delta....
Damn, I can't even google that Australian alphabet.
