I just got my rear slave (dual piston) from Mike O'Conner. It's
different from the one on my car.
Forgive me if this has been discussed, I did a search but wasn't able
to find info.
Both slave's have two threaded openings for the brake lines. On the
slave on my car, they are both the same diameter. On the new one, the
top one is smaller, and it came with a brass male fitting coming out
of it.
what gives? Do I need to change the fitting on the end of the brake
line? Not sure how to do that.
Any help is appreciated...

different types of rear 2-piston brake slave cylinder?
Re: different types of rear 2-piston brake slave cylinder?
Alan;
The attached picture shows both rear wheel cylinders, the drivers
side has two brake lines going to it, the Passenger side has one line going
to it and a bleed screw. It sounds to me like you have a Honda AN600 Sedan
and maybe some one added an additional line, or they put in a different
wheel cylinder on the Right Rear wheel.

No. I have a coupe (US). The left side (Drivers has one line going in, with a bleeder, and the the passenger side has the 2 lines… I've been looking at the sedan manual… I just looked at the coupe shop manual. Is it possible, that this cylinder belongs on the side with only one line going in… in which case, I need to find or rebuild the one with two lines going in (passenger side). This is the one that is leaking :) and hence all of these questions.
