Engine paint

I am trying to paint some engine parts after cleaning. what paint is the recommended type.
as far as engine valves, what are the coices right now?

I use a High temp aluminum exhaust paint that cures with heat. Looks like
fresh glass bead aluminum when done. Send your e-mail address to

Tom,
I wouldn't recommend painting the engine valves, it will just burn off
the faces, wear off the stems and gum up the guides.
I have Bronze valve guides if you need them and used valves is the
only choice unless you can machine some out of something else that is
close.
