The Honda life I owned had a Z600 engine in it, ran very well. Sold it back in 1989 to some guy in Germany. Mirrors were on the fenders for adequate viewing.
Also the engine in Jose car was rebuilt with a NOS crankshaft and 1.00 oversize pistons. Jose drove it home from my shop to Florida without any problems.
