How do I remove my Coupe's headliner?
I have the windshield glass/gasket out and I can see where I can
begin prying it off the front end, but is there a procedure for how
it is removed? What's holding it on, and where? It's in good shape,
and I don't want to damage it.
I've found some info on this board, but it's mostly for the Sedan
headliner, which seems to be different.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Coupe Headliner
Here is Bill Colford's strategy...he discusses a sedan but hopefully it will
give you some ideas. I have not tested this.

Well, I don't know if it's a strategy or not, but it only takes tools. On
the anzhonda600owners@yahoogroups.com group site I show the tools. there
are three clips in front and three in back. You need to push them back and
then find a way to lift the tab up so it will cross the body edge. Then
just pull it out. Honda shop manuals even show you where the tabs are.
This is not brain surgery.

Re: Coupe Headliner
Bill, are the clips in the same place on the coupe? The front edge is
lipped around the frame of the windshield, under the windshield seal.
I have the windshield and seal already removed. Do I pull the
headliner fabric down and around to find the 3 front clips?

Hi Jeff;
All I did is use a length of flat metal (bent to go under the head liner)
and run it along and under the edge until it stops, mark it and go from the
other side until it too stops, that is your clip. Just pushing it down will
not undo the clip. you have to lift the end of the clip up so it will come
over the lip if the body frame.
