Re: antenna
Hi Dean;
It is the same antenna for Honda civics 73 to 78, only difference is your 72 has two sections and the others have three.

Re: antenna
Bill:
Have you actually used an antenna from a 1973-78 Civic to replace one
from a Honda N600? I have a 1972. Are you sure it fits?
Thank you in advance for your help with this.

Re: antenna
I got one at autozone a few years ago. Goes right in the stock hole.

Re: antenna
And, I was looking through my parts the other day and came across a brand new one still in the wrapper. But they are still available through most stereo supply houses. The only difference is the original has two lengths and the later has three when you pull them open.

Re: antenna coupe x sedan
A coupe antenna will not fit a sedan, A civic antenna will not fit a
sedan. There were 2 or 3 different antennas that fit sedan. The
first type of sedan antennas were a solid wire mast that completely
retracted into the body post.
The 2nd type was a sectional that retracted into a housing which
actually had a special key. The tip of the antenna was notched and
clicked into the housing. When the key was inserted a spring popped
the antenna out so you could grab it and extend it. The key is flat
with 2 prongs, it may say AntKey or something similar on it.
The replacement antennas work well for either car but you may need
an extension to reach the radio.
