Hey all i have been surfing and found www.hondapartsnow.com. I started doing some looking around and it says they have the honda wheels, and a Crankshaft assy for $1216.18. most of the things i was looking at it said they do not have. just found it interesting that they would list this. I have not called to see. the addy for it is http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine/ho ... 8-190.html. has anyone delt with this place?
Re: Parts
Ordered "in stock" part once to have money refunded the next day. They do not have all the parts in stock they say they do.

Re: Parts
You will find that all of the sites from Honda dealers will list parts for 600 cars because the part numbers are in their Honda database and not because they have them. Listed database part numbers does not equal inventory! Honda America gave up on stocking parts for our cars many years ago. You might find a dealer with a couple of things under a layer of dust in the back corner, but for the most part all "gems" have long ago been sold or trashed. Periodically dealers will toss obsolete inventory in the trash. It costs them money to have stuff on the shelf that doesn't sell. They are charged a tax on their inventory. A prudent parts manager tosses the non sellers and gets inventory that will move at least twice a year. Honda America has made almost all of our parts "obsolete" so dealers can't return it to them for credit. While it is entertaining to surf the online dealers database it is also very frustrating to get excited about a found gem only to get a refund because it's not really in stock.
If you want real parts stick to the proven few that actually stock parts for these cars.

Re: Parts
Hay bruce; When are you going to answer my e-mails?
I disagree, because t here are a number of shops who have and still do today, sell original parts for these cars. Also many of the used parts have been reworked to be useful again.
You should read my articles on rebuilding parts that are no longer available. They are on the http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/anzhonda600owners/ group site for all to view. There are even step by step views to go by for hobbyists looking to rebuild their old coil. Or, rebuild their advancer assembly with parts costing less than a buck. Instead of going to a site that has to steal to promote it's business.
