100HP

Post by Skip »

i would love to find a honda engine for my n600 but this is the
smallest engine i could find that would fit with this kind of
horsepower.Hondas 1.5liter only puts out 70-90 horsepower depending
on the trim.the 1.6liter in my civic wagon allwheel drive puts out
about 100HP and they are just too big physicly. There is a turbo kit
for this suzuki 1.3 that will bring it up to 160HP.Stage 2 kit will
bring it up to 200HP.I have been thinking about this and doing some
research on small engines with big horsepower for over a year. You
could buy a mini engine and 5 speed tranny with 100HP but it would
cost about $8,000.The mini engine is good, but not for that kind of
HP.Its simply old school(i have a mini)but its fun to drive.
thanks

cool!! you got a wagovan those are cool.
my shifterkart has 40 hp and a 125cc motocross engine. me and the kart weigh 385 ( min weight rules as it would be less without the lead, but at least i can place the lead in good spots)     youd probably like it.
anyway. i thought you meant a bike engine. whats it out of a smaurai or swift?

oh, its from a suzuki swift GT aluminum block and head 16valve twin
cam.I thought
about motorcycle engines too,but almost all of them dont have
reverse and they would be a chain and sprocket involve.

Hi Edwin
Wow that sounds cool 160 hp Go for it, sounds like a nice Hot Rod project. Take PIC of everything you have to do to get that motor in there.
