Sun visor

Post by honda600wiz »

One more question...
I can't get my sun visor to stay up. There are three screws and they are
as tight as possible. Does anyone have any "tricks" on tightening this so
it won't flop down? The passenger side is great and I'm sick of using tape
to hold it up!
Thanks again.

> Doug Hey Doug,
Two of the screws hold the sunvisor bracket to the car, and the
middle (third screw) keeps it snug on its pivot. I had the same
trouble with mine. If you take out the screw and file a (point) on
the end of the threads, that should help. If not, you will have to
get a new plastic bracket for you visor. They have a habit of
cracking with age, and sometimes stretching out of shape just enough
to make the visor want to flop down. Anyway, I hope this helps.

Have you tried giving it a Viagra? From what I have
heard that little pill will keep old things up for
quite a long time!
Just having some fun with ya,
Jason
