Brake modification

Post by isettakurt »

The master cylinder on my Coupe has a small check valve on each of the two
circuits as they exit the master cyclinder.
I'm under the impression these check valves aren't really needed for the
brakes to work properly. Can anyone see a problem with removing these check
valves from the master cylinder outlets?

Dave,
Do it and let us know what happens. Check valves are now
discontinued, I ordered 50 and got 4.

Discontinued parts (was Re: Brake modification)

So what items are good to keep extras of? It appears like the crank is the one item that goes bad first. That or the cam/cam bearings.
What else is hard to get?

Hi Jpro8071
Save everything, bolts, washers, cases, bearings, seals,..... I should
send a picture of my garage, I even have body and frame parts. You will
never know what you will need.
