Twin carb and turbocharger?

Post by Hondarevival.com »

I'm getting way ahead of myself, since my Coupe isn't even
running yet, but I have to ask. Where do you find one of those twin
carb setups pictured in the photo section? Also, I've read about
people putting a turbocharger of some sort on the 600's. Are these
very hard to come by?

That's the only twin carb set up I have ever seen in my 20 years of
Honda 600 life, and I did have the chance to buy that one but the guy
woulda made me take all his cars & junk. I guess Robert got that
engine on eBay? The only other twin carb setup I had ever heard of
belonged to The Honda Car Club of N. Hollywood Ca. (M.Kefurt). His
had the twin carb head, 180 degree crank, & hot cam. It was to
produce 60 HP.
Turbo? you really like the expense of building engines? Supercharger -
easier, and easier to get, spin it off your fan drive pulley. You
are way limited to space in a coupe to start with, you will find a
properly tuned stock Honda 600 is plenty fast (won't go up hills,
but....).

im just trying to make mine a concours 100 point car. i like to clean them and then bitch and moan when a spec of dust get on them. heheheh
i would think a turbo or blower would blow up ( literaly) a small honda 600 motor.
oh well,
