NOS exhaust manifold

Post by deanbratcher1 »

I have just found 2 NOS exhaust manifolds (both the same) Honda number
18306-567-680. They have flange plates where they join to the first
silencer. Anybody got an idea what model they're for? I have'nt been able to
find a matching number so far. I'll try my local Honda dealer today, but if
anyone can shed some light that'd be great.

Hi NZ;
It may be a part for a New Zealand 360 part for a Sedan, but it does not
show up in any of the North American books not even in Honda's parts price
listing. Got a Picture?

No photo yet, 'cause I use my digital camera from work. I'll get some
soon. Another point is that the flat plate near the end of the pipe
has 2 holes in it. A bag came with one of the manifolds came with a
gold plate and bolts and springs which looks like it makes a flexible
connection with the main exhaust system. What do the S series
manifolds look like? Do they use separate pipes? I tried Honda NZ for
ideas and it looks like the guy who helped me in the past has left.
No one could find any number match on the computer and no one had old
knowledge!
I'll get some photos up soon!

it could also be for the watercooled engine, that also
has been used in the life.

Have now uploaded the photo of the manifolds. I did try to upload to
a new album that I set up, but it said access denied?! I uploaded to
the first level of the album.
Can anyone shed some light on what model uses a manifold with a
bracket and spring mount as shown?
Thanks

The pipe in the picture is result of a heat exchanger that the
aluminum fins fell off and the owner couldn't stand the noise so they
hacked off the box & fins, I bet ya. That's what's inside the heater
box.
The S600 is a 4 cylinder engine, you'd know if you had one of those
pipes. 4 1" pipes going into a 4" flange with 4 individual pipes.
