The 600 is just ok in the snow, especially once its deeper than 3",s.
Where it is ok,is on lesser amounts. It's v.good on ice as far as
rear wheel drive cars go. The late model cars with larger wheel
diameters are much better. I have a lot of 1st. hand experience
here,as I drive all winter thru snow and salt-and then weld the car
back togther again!! You see the small dia. tires tend to dig a
hole, and spin. One of the best cars for hill-climbing,and traction
in the snow is the vw beetle! The rear wheel drive, and 15" wheels
are the key!(rear wheel drive v.good on steep hills)To help the
600,run new tires and lower air pressure in front tires,(I use about
20 psi in deep snow. Snow tires aren't much better, the best tires I
ever used were the michelin xzx.(best wear,traction,blow-out
proof,and handling.
