My driver's side door swings so far open that it hits the back edge
of the front fender. Is there supposed to be something to prevent
that?

Yep, you need new hinges. There is a brace (really two stoppers) on the
back side of the hinge to keep it from going to far. Which side? top or
bottom? Coupe or Sedan?

Thanks, Bill
-Well, so far I have just noticed the driver's side (sedan). Don't
know if my problem is top or bottom. I don't use the off-side door
much. I do have a parts car that might yield the hinges that have the
stoppers. I have the doors off the parts car but had not tried yet to
get hinges off. If that fails, do you have hinges with the needed
stoppers? How much? Joe

Hi Joe;
I will have to look and see if I have an extra set for a sedan. I know
I have them for a Coupe. But look at yours and they may just be bent.
