Hello, all!
We've purchased Michelin and other 10" tires over the
past 15 years. In Georgia, the Michelins used to be
available from Bridgestone, and at the time we were
told that Bridgestone had purchased the mold. Miles
is right about the price--they were way more than
double what we have been paying recently, and that was
a good 10 years ago. We've found Kumho tires at one
place in Savannah (there may be more), and we've
purchased some from Mike O'Connor in North Carolina.
Mike's price was very competitive with the local
place.
For the price difference, we're probably going to keep
staying with the Kumhos. They have been every bit as
good (for what we do with our cars) as the Michelins
were.
