Exhaust

Post by alarconlujan »

Hello,
Yesterday ive been working on my newly Honda 600. I check that
the exhaust system, from the colector to the end its in a really bad
shape, rusty.... I hitted it and rust dissapeared, but an small hole
appeared. Also have another holes not made by me. I notice that it
has a rubber when the conectors get together that is petrified.
When I tried to start the car, a noisy like somebody hitting the car
was sounding. Could it be caused by the exhaust system?
Where to get a new one? For how much? Is the same exhaust that other
cars?
Thanks

few years back my exhaust system was rusted out and no muffler shop had 1.25 tubing or the tools to bend it after a hard look I found some fence 1.25 tubing and took it to a sprint racing car frame builder and they were nice enough too bend it for me I had the small clip welded back on painted it black it looked ok it was on my Z-coup (tail pipe) 2" pipe is a little close to body and suspension. My other idea was too check out copper tubing
