I like spray silicone. WD will work,but it collects dust. Pull the belt assembly and pull it all the way out on the real, then use the spray silicone liberally and cycle the belt back in several times. If there is any wear or damage that will have to be straightened. Otherwise it should work fine. Bill

Silicone spray did the trick.
