Seat Belts

Post by alarconlujan »

Hello,

I found a guy in Spain who sells new Kangol Seat Belts, i m
waiting for a pair he must send me. By now, i upload a photo at photo
section if you want to see how it are. It cost me 21 $, and are
exactly as the ones my honda z project have. Do you know if they are
originals?

Thank you again,

Seat Belts

Post by z600miles »

Hey you people in the Mainland USA: If you have defective seat belts;
those which don't retract or those which will not latch - They Are
Still Covered Under Honda Warranty !!!!!! What is not covered: Ones
which are missing pieces, so like if you are missing a shoulder
harness or half lap belt is missing you are SOL. If Honda America
still has the belts, you can get this warranty. All you have to do is
take your Honda 600 to a Honda Car Dealer. They may laugh at you,
they will order and install the belts for you at no charge.

And, Again ---- The KANGOL's are not OEM. Your coupe should have
small latches with an H on the push button of the latch release.

Hi, Miles

Was my 1970 Honda n600 suposto have a shoulder harness?
The guy who sold me my honda said it was a 67 but through research I found that only 70's came to the states in late 69 my seat belts say 69 on them could that have been replaced due to warranty
What is the deal with my honda is it a 70 or is it a 67
I read that they did not have carpet in them till 70 and mine definatly came with carpet so is it a 70?
I also would like to know how many licks to the center of a tootsie pop
I figure if you can't figure out the first question you probably have the answer to the secound lol

Seat Belts

Post by z600miles »

According to my 2 Factory Honda 600 Window Stickers the sedan came
with the following options free of charge: Lap & Shoulder Belts &
Cigarette lighter. If you look at the ID tag on your Driver side door
post it will tell you the year of the car. If you post a pic of your
car I could tell you also, would need more details about the inside
such as the location of your seat tilterdoo, std or retractable belts
& stuff like that, engine #.

Seat Belts

Post by timk11 »

My Z600 came with only lap belts.  I was looking at the window sticker in the roster of owners web site links and shoulder straps were listed as standard in the front.  Does anyone have a shoulder strap or a complete set of belts they want to sell.  I feel safer with a shoulder belt but with the "click it or ticket" campaign going on I don't know what the police might say if they found me with only a lap belt.

my '70 AN600 is lap only as well, non retactable. the
'72 is retractable and the shoulder strap is an
optional thing that came coiled up over the back
window. what year is your "Z" ?

ah, then you are in good shape. the lap belts should
have the slot that accepts the optional shouler strap.
is there a threaded hole over the middle of the back
window? it may have a plastic cap in it. that's where
the belt bolts in. do note that this hole is SAE where
the rest of the car is metric. when you get your
straps that's where they go. I'll keep my eyes open
for you. Hope this helps
