Dear Bill,
Thank you for reporting that the Sell Your Item form was giving you an
error message about PayPal being mandatory for selling.
Please be assured that PayPal is not currently mandatory for all sellers
on eBay. It may be required for certain sellers to accept PayPal
payments or merchant credit cards, based on past trading experience.
Sellers who list in certain risky categories are also required to accept
PayPal or merchant credit cards, regardless of past trading history.
More information about our Safer Payments Requirements can be found on
the eBay Announcement Board at this link:

We apologize for the incorrect information that was in this error
message and thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve this
issue.
Sincerely,
Noah R.
eBay Customer Support

e-bay purchase policies
Message: The e-mail said that e-bay is making it manditory to use Paypal
for all transactions, is this true? If so, I will stop using e-bay. I
believe it is one of my freedoms to pay as I chose according to the deal
made. Making it hard for users to use e-bay will send all of us to
craigs list.
