Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's Honda 600 sedan is up for auction at the Petersen Museum this weekend in LA. They are looking for $30,000 to $40,000, but there is no reserve.

Seems like if they were trying to get that much cash for a $2000 honda that they would redo the seats !

It will be interesting to see what it goes for with Big Ed's name on it.   If it goes for 30 to 40 I think I will sell my coupe for $25,000!  lol.lol.lol

Yeah,  maybe I'll sell my ;71 sedan for $ 15,000.  Well, maybe knock off one of those zeros.  Seriously, I am considering selling as  my health says start getting rid of things.  Would rather sell to someone not too far away.  Would like for them to look it over and drive it and then we could set down and talk about what needs attention.  Rust free.  Runs good.  Stops ok.  New rebuilt master cylinder--brass lined. New tires.  No pics and wouldn't know how to post if I did. Interior has been redone, I think.  This is the only one of these little darlings I have ever seen.      Also have two other old vehicles to get rid of.

Actually, the car was sold in auction about 3 years ago for 56k.  The original estimate was 7 - 10k.  It's not the car, but the provenance that's for sale.
