I've been nosing around Ebay at the numerous bike oil pumps available. Many are tidy little bolt on totally contained units ........ drive shaft, inlet port, outlet port.
Has anybody considered the possibility of grafting such a unit to the N600? Whenever I see a handy threaded drive end the likes of the n600's primary drive side I allways start pondering.
What is the rotational speed range of these little pumps?
Possible Oil Pump convertion ?

Marshall, always good to check out how other engines pump oil.
I think the Honda pump is fine for what we need.
I read a past post from Bill about oil pressure.
He put an oil pressure gauge on his car and got readings of:
*Cold 35psi.
*Hot 8-10psi at 3K rpm and very little increase as RPM went up.
Not sure of the condition of the oil pump, or oil used.
I can see oil pressure not increasing much as rpm goes up, sometimes the pump cavitates and can't get oil in quick enough.
10-15psi would be good for a roller bearing motor.
