Re: Coupe for sale
I joined this list after seeing that exact car. I'm in Phoenix. I put
in for an auto loan with my credit union on Thursday night and didn't hear
from them yet on Friday. (Could have paid for it out of savings but it would
nearly wipe me out.)
Well, damn. I hope she's a responsible driver rather than the college
stereotype. I had been keeping my eye out for a Z600 in good driving shape
in AZ at a good price for a while. I have a motorcycle (Honda CB750, '93)
I use fairly infrequently. That's the only gas powered thing I own. I've
gone skiing in Flagstaff with it. I'm not as hardy as I used to be, so road
trips on the motorcycle wear me out. It may be a foolhardy idea, but I was
thinking of using your Z600 for infrequent road trips, in style. I was
going to ask people for practical advice on doing just that.
This is in Nebraska:

Guy says it almost runs and has ran recently. I'm capable of doing some
mechanical work, but I don't have the time for a major project. Is there
anyone in Phoenix who works on these, if I had it shipped down? Does eBay's
shipping estimator (which says about $800) actually jive with reality?
Would that be a reasonable way to go?
Cheers,

Found this ad on "Bring a Trailer" website. Does this belong to any of the bretheren, or is anybody interested? (Note $6,000 reserve not met.) ---Bryan O
