Hi Hector;
I have a real problem with liars and thieves.  I have asked this person nicely to acknowledge the origin of the picture or remove it from the website.  His website is only for profit, he is making money by using a picture I took and did not give him permission to use.   His answer was "It has no copyright no foul"  Under copyright law, as soon as the shutter closes on a picture it belongs to the person who took it.  Not for the use by anyone who thinks they can steel it and use it how ever they please.
    T his picture was taken back in Feb 2003 for a Hemmings Motor News article, and was passed it to them for their use.  He said he got it off google images.  Google images gives the name of the owner of the picture or it is not in their links.  The picture posted on Google Images has another site on it, so it too was used without permission. However I have claimed ownership and provided proof.
His remarks show an unprofessional attitude and poor character.
    Protecting your property is not being grumpy, it's a right in our country.  If we don't defend these rights then people like this abuse them.  Allowing them to do that and get away with it would be my fault, if I allow it to happen.
