Hello All,
I lost brake pressure on my '72 AZ600 this afternoon, and seems pretty clear that the passenger side wheel cylinder is leaking bad, by the trail of brake fluid running down from the seams of the hub. Is there anything unusual about replacing the rear wheel cylinder, or it as straightfoward as replacing a wheel cylinder in an american full size car with drum brakes? I've done a brake work on vintage cars before, but never this Honda, so I wanted to ask if there any any "red flags" I should be aware off before i dive in and start taking things apart?
Also, does anyone sell brand new or rebuild wheel cylinders for the rear drums or is a rebuild kit the only option?
Thanks!

It is really straight-forward. You may need to get a stone hone though for 5/8" cylinders. You can use the Geo Metro slave cylinder rebuild kits.> Is there anything unusual about replacing the rear wheel

If it is in bad shape, you'll probably need to have them relined--although I suspect if you do a hone and rebuild you'll be back on the road in no time.
I haven't see any new ones. The 73' CVCC 1200 cylinders are pretty close, depending on your setup.> Also, does anyone sell brand new or rebuild wheel cylinders

The 72 wont be 5/8" cylinder, should be 11/16". I sell those kits and replacement shoes in my eBay Store. Though it shows zero in stock kits, I have them.
