Honda B-series engine are double over cam engine with
V-tec. There are a few B-engine. the 1st. is the B16a
which was on the del sol vtec si, this engine was on
the delsol from 92-97 which has a horse power of about
160 and it was OBD1. then there the b16b which came
with in 1999-2000 honda civic si which produce about
160hp also but came in OBD2. earlier B series were the
b17a and b17b which where in the 1989-1993 integra LS
and GSR and uses OBD0. new b-series for integra are
the b18b and b18C1 and B18C5. B18b came in the integra
LS-GS 1994-2001 and produce about 140hp, then the
b18C1 came in the 1994-2001 integra GSR which produce
about 170hp, and there the b18c5 only come in red
valve cover and produces about 195hp and only came in
the integra Type-R only and were only produced in the
integra only and very few were made. then the b-20,
came all of the honda CRV, this engine is normally
made for the franemstien setup v-tec. people would
take the head of the GSR and mod to fit the B-20, with
low compression piston is a great setup for turbo. if
you were going to put anyone of these engine inside
the 600 honda, good luck! the wide and the depth will
not fit, the only engines that will probably fit the
600 beside the original engine are, 3 cyclinders geo
metro or the suzuki swift but with alot of mode work.
most of these info are pretty accurate but if there is
correction, please let me know. Thanks!

We talk Honda 600's here, and the B series denotes Honda 600 Sedans built
from chassis number ANXXX-XXX-XXXX N600E-1500001 April 1971 through Chassis
ANXXX-XXX-XXXX N600E-1511XXX ( the engine number is not known only that it
was in the 11000 range) in November 1971 when the C series Sedan started.
The big difference between the first series (or A series) is the transition
from constant transmission with one over drive gear (4th) and the full
synchro transmission with two over drive (3rd and 4th) gears. The engine
numbers are significant to Honda 600's destined to the US as these engines
were detuned from 45hp to 36hp.
