Anyone have a source for exhaust valves? Mine are beyond grinding.
Anything out there that is close that I could machine?
Thanks

I shop at their online store for parts for all my Hondas because they
offer wholesale prices.

exhaust valves
Are the exhaust valves made of the same material as the intake valves?
I am thinking of grinding an intake valve down to the dimentions of
an exhaust valve. The exhaust valves see greater heating, thus the
question.

[2cylinderhondas] exhaust valves: Try Stellite
You may want to check out Deloro Stellite exhaust valves.
They outlast
SS exhaust valves: about 500% greater wear characteristics. The patented
Deloro Stellite process is applied as a coating. It may be possible to apply Stellite coating to you machined intake Valve, though personally I would not. In applications where SS exhaust valves begin to fail at 20-25k miles, Stellite coated valves are still going strong under severe conditions at 100-125k miles for me.

Re: exhaust valves
If I have some valves made is anyone interested in also getting
some.Should not be a problem to make more than two. E-mail me off
list if interested. Do not know price yet.
