Well, today was interesting. I dropped off three sedan wheels with old tires on them to be
removed and disposed of..28.00 came home and unboxed the "Harbor freight" portable
tire changer I bought ???. I tried a couple of older wheels, but the rims bend pretty easy
on these little cars. the old tires get so stiff they do not WANT to come off. I think maybe a
sawsall next time. it has been so many years since I did this that I forgot which side you
mount and dismount the tires on? otherwise the tire changer is O.K., but it's typical
Mainland Chinese quality..so beware.. I did remember to buy tire sealer to apply when I am
done "ice blasting" the rims clean and painting them..15.00 a can at Napa. The Liquid
Nitrogen is where I work..Yes I know, I'm spoiled. seems that once they load the blaster it
has to be used up no matter what. their loss, my gain ; )
