Since I don't have a tach on my N600, I wonder what the redline really is. I know there are lines on the speedo, but I can easily exceed them, especially in 4th gear. I find myself having to slow down while on the freeway, so I don't go too much over it.
How much over the 75 mph limit can I really go? Those of you with Z's, what is the rpm at 75 mph in 4th? I've done 80 and 85 before, even went close to 90, with a slight downhill. How bad is this for the engine?
Thanks-

sure but I think I could pull 85 mph. I don't think it's too good

know you have a fresh motor if its quiet. Maybe someone with a tach

Hi Kraig;
The last time I was pulling those numbers I had a constant transmission speedometer gear in my full synchro trans. 75 will have your tac hitting above 6K, and 6K is redline.
