you were looking for some pictures of pistons. I think I have some many
engines that have broken oil pump rods look like. This car had a oil cooler
on it and yes the oil pump rod still broke, but the top half, the crankshaft
and yes even the cylinders (after being bored) were still usable. But look
at the Photo section of anzhnda600owners group under oil pump and you can
see some dandy trashed pistons. What really caused the most damage was that
the owner kept trying to drive the car even after it quit several times.
