The website below is the same, but they use one rivet and it's brass.
So it's bonded to the old backing with one rivet in the center to ensure
they wont move in the baking process. Brass will not cause any problems
against the steel disc.

I took 100 of them to a local friction company to get relined. They
told me since the original Tokiko pads are formed (the material
protrudes through holes in the steel) that if they just bonded on the
new linings that they could fall off. He told me if I have ones that
are rivetted he could do it no problem.
Can you hook me up with your bonding shop?
