From USA to Costa Rica

Post by Full Name »

Just wondering if anyone has an idea of how to sent a car overseas? my issue is this:
If I buy a N600 in America, how can I transport it by ship to Costa RIca. To whom should I contact? Locally (Costa Rica) I know about the taxes I must pay, etc, but from the USA side, I have no idea.
If the motor is running well, I am not so concerned about paint or upholstery, that can be done here. any ideas?

I have had a lot of experience importing cars to the states, including one from Costa Rica, but not exporting to Costa Rica, although I have a very good friend in Costa Rica, who has imported a number of cars. If you contact me at chasgould@..., I can put you in touch with him. In fact, he may even know of a Honda car available in your country!
If you do decide to purchase a US Honda, I have several which may be available for sale, but mine are all Z models, although I do know of an AN available close by.
